About Me

- I'm a 42 y/o an artist and continuing student, who grew up in the bay area. I have an A.S. degree in interior design, and I am studying jewelry and dramatic arts at College of Marin. I have been involved in acting for theater most of my life, and I have designed costumes and sets for school productions. I began doing hand-drawn invitations in high school. I am excited about writing my own childrens book one day, and I am working on my drawing and watercolor skills,too. My teacher Mehri Dadgar is helping me improve my drawing and watercolor. This year, my jewelry designs were influenced partly by the Yves Saint Laurent exhibit at the De Young Museum, especially his Africa Collection from the 1960s. I am often influenced by the materials I find in bead stores and the farmer's market. Often I find a focus bead that becomes my inspiration. I have learned by taking classes, and have taken most of my own jewelry photographs. I hope you enjoy my work. Please let me know of your interest in purchasing custom work. How are you inspired?
